About this coffee
African and South American arabica ground to a powder for the cezve. It is made for the unfiltered method that has shaped coffee across this region for five hundred years.
The powder-fine grind is essential to the preparation. It disperses through the water as the coffee heats, building the dense body and characteristic surface foam that a coarser grind cannot produce in the same way.
Because the coffee is served unfiltered, the grounds remain part of the cup and settle naturally after pouring. This is not espresso coffee ground a little finer; it is a grind made specifically for the method.
